Yet again it's our joy to introduce a new brand this week. Victoria Henry is a Swedish jewellery label run by jewellery designer, Victoria Henry herself. All jewellery is handmade with love and defined by a fusion of natural and manmade materials. 

The brand's style draws inspiration from indigenous tribes and cultures. We love this as it greatly appeals to our african-inspired aesthetics as well as adds spice to the rest of our SS15 Collection.

Victoria Henry was in fact amongst one of the featured brands at last weekends À la London Designmarknad at Gothenburg. Colourful beads, patterns and designs. Truly one to wear this summer!

Welcome Majls: Gothenburg Based Street-Art Brand

We at Anothamista are super excited to present the Gothenburg based upcoming street-art brand, Majls. Majls for us is a brand that has a funky sense of happening and truly understands the whole-look approach in street fashion.

Klas Lindgårde, who is behind Majls has his background in art and has built his brand on pillars of art, textile history and street cultures. This is well seen in aesthetics of each designed item.

Maljs was recently chosen amongst the top 20 Swedish brands you must know by the online fashion and lifestyle brand publication platform, Highsnobeity. Their new collection "Wizard Anthology" was specially acknowledged. We are indeed proud to have Majls onboard!

Anothamista Style Feature: Two Icons Better Than One

From a very tender age both Sanne and Kristel were taught: “dare to be yourself”. Thereon both sisters dare to stand out and dress as they wish without giving a second thought as to what others think. Sanne is inspired by different styles from different eras. She describes it as picking flowers in preparing a bouquet. Go with your intuition and feeling.

Nonetheless Sanne also depicts her style as changing a lot - one moment she can be very urban or vintage, while the next moment she might prefer a more minimalistic approach. Her personal advice is to just match different patterns, colors, and styles and blend them together.
