Hey!

    This is our very first post and we're more than excited as we have so much to share with you. We started this blog to bring inspiration to our readers. We believe true inspiration comes from hard work, open-heartedness and transparency. Therefore, we want to start off by sharing some insights about the Sistas from Anothamista, what we do and how far we have come with Anothamista.

Our names are Adetoun and Sandra and we met studying Fashion Management at the Swedish School of Textiles. We instantly clicked like sisters from the very beginning, hence the name Anothamista.  Both of us are very passionate about fashion. We enjoy our independence and love to make a difference to conventional ways of doing things so starting a business together was only natural.

At the moment while writing our master’s thesis, we're eagerly looking into setting up our own Anothamista fashion showroom in Gothenburg. A small part of the process involves running this blog, developing our website, sourcing cool brands while working part time jobs to make ends-meet.  

We’re obviously juggling many balls at once yet we love it! We also like to think that hard work usually pays off and this is what keeps our dreams alive.
